Our family thoroughly enjoyed the house for our Christmas. The beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, and the hot tub was wonderful. The location was great, not far from the freeway or the downtown Christmas lights.
Amanda was a fantastic host & my son has already asked if we can stay for our next visit.

I appreciate older homes and I love staying in them through Airbnb, when we travel. This is a 1950's era ranch, that maintains the original 1950's kitchen with original cabinetry and retro cabinet pulls. The home was plenty spacious for us, with the basement adding extra space if needed. This house has old character, and we appreciate antiquated charm and a place that tells a story through time, much more than a modern home, so this was great for us. It is located directly across the street from The College of Idaho, so if anyone is ever searching for a place to be close to the college, this location is ideal. It is only minutes drive to the downtown center of Caldwell, which provides really great food options and a cute city center square and walking path along the river way. During the Christmas season, Caldwell lights up the center with festive lights and ice skating. Each night of our stay, we enjoyed soaking in the hot tub, which was a clean and comfortable tub. So relaxing!

My 4 year old and I had a great stay here! Amanda was super responsive, cleaning up was easy, there was literally everything you could need for cooking which was fantastic, there was adequate heating and air flow. We were very happy with the space but I do feel it’s important to note that the bed/sleeping loft is pretty tight- I’m young and healthy but I could see this being a bit too small for someone who is older or less able bodied. My 4 year old loved it and called it his bear cave. Thanks for such a great stay!

Amanda was a great host! Very accommodating to our dogs staying with us as well! She was very responsive and helpful if we needed anything at all! The house was so cute and exactly as pictured! Very clean and well taken care of! The yard was great for our dogs, they loved running around and squirrel watching as well as plenty of room for us to stretch their legs after long days at our event! We appreciate her hospitality greatly and we will absolutely stay here again if we come again!

This was such a cute and comfy place to stay. I loved the outdoor space. It was clean and cozy feeling. Linens were wonderful. Loved the washer and dryer as well it was so quick to get laundry done. Would stay again.

This is a great little place! The host was also great. One of the appliances wasn't working properly and Amanda was willing to help us out and give us options to work around it. We enjoyed our Stay immensely!

This was an AMAZING place to stay! 100% recommend if you are staying in Caldwell! It is so close to the city with tons of little shops, restaurants, and small walking trails! Amanda was super responsive, they even gave us a recommendation of their favorite coffee shop and restaurant near by! Quiet neighborhood, nice fenced yard, hot tub was clean and well kept! It was perfect!
10/10 we will FOR SURE be back!!

The"Retro" home as it was called is a wonderful place to immediately relax and enjoy quiet time. We loved being in the historic Steunenberg district - beautiful old homes and fanastic big trees. Great for walks! We especially enjoyed the spacious home, outfitted kitchen and hot tub. Each evening after enjoyable visits to wineries, or travel to the nearby mountains for hiking, we would soak in the hot tub completely content. We cant wait to come back!!

Really like the place. It was very homey feeling. My favorite part about the place was the live room and back yard. It is set up in a way that feels very peaceful and private.
